Investing in green hydrogen:

European countries are actively investing in the development of green hydrogen. In 2020, the European Commission presented the Hydrogen Strategy, which envisages the installation of 40 GW of green hydrogen production capacity by 2030.

Companies investing in green hydrogen:

Siemens Energy: The German concern Siemens Energy is cooperating with a number of companies on projects for the production, transportation and storage of green hydrogen.

Air Liquide: the French company Air Liquide is one of the leaders in the global hydrogen market. It invests in green hydrogen production projects in Europe and other regions of the world.

Shell: Anglo-Dutch oil and gas company Shell is also actively investing in green hydrogen. It plans to build a number of electrolyzers in Europe for the production of green hydrogen.
